Wild Berry recruiters win global awards
Our recruitment team picked up several major awards at a recent, glittering ceremony held in the capital’s Globe Theatre.
Wild Berry Associates – an amalgamation of three agencies acquired by Berry Recruitment Group (BRG) – won a total of seven awards.
The event was organised by BRG for its staff, of whom there are more than 200 in its 36 branches across the country.
The team that comprised the former agency Amanda Smith picked up the ‘achievement of budget’ and ‘highest growth branch’ awards.
Gosia Mickiewicz picked up the highly sought after ‘best permanent consultant’ title for her outstanding work.
Zoe Rooke was named as ‘star performer’, Daniel White won the ‘outstanding business support’ award and Olivia McWilliams was named as another ‘star performer’.
BRG’s annual awards evening was held in the replica of the Elizabethan playhouse on the banks of the Thames that is associated with Shakespeare.
The Wild Berry Associates’ winners took to the stage to receive their awards from director Spencer Berry.
MD of the group, Chris Chown, congratulated the winners and said: “Wild Berry Associates comprises three agencies that we acquired in London.
“We were able, however, to name the former Amanda Smith team as winners of two 2017 awards.
“Pulling three agencies together has gone very smoothly and it’s testament to the professionalism of all the staff involved who are highly motivated and professional.
“The group as a whole enjoyed another successful year and we have started 2018 very positively.
“Unemployment remains very low nationally and operating in a competitive sector requires talented recruitment consultants to achieve success, and that is what we have seen across the group and in central London.”
